Any new mattress needs a certain level of care to last for many comfortable nights.

Your mattress is made with all new materials that may release a slight smell — this is normal. Once removed from its plastic packaging, leave it uncovered in a well-ventilated room to let any odours dissipate.

• Do not stand or jump on your mattress or base.
• Do not bend or fold your mattress.
• If your mattress contains an anatomic gel comfort layer, keep it flat — do not store it on its side.
• Use a suitable, supportive base.

• Always use a good quality mattress protector.
• Let your mattress breathe regularly — turn the bedlinen back for a few hours so air can circulate.

• Vacuum regularly with a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and fluff.
• Avoid getting your mattress wet. Absorb spills immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel.

Rotate your mattress end-to-end every two weeks for the first four months, then monthly, for more even wear. Handles, where fitted, are for rotating only — they are not designed to carry the full weight of the mattress, and using them to lift or carry it may cause damage and will void the guarantee.
