Do not place furniture in direct sunlight. It causes fading and can crack or warp materials. This includes sunlight through a window.
Do not sit or rest on the arms of a chair or lounge — they are not designed to support excessive weight.
Do not allow pets to sit or jump on your furniture.
Do not place furniture close to heating or air-conditioning vents.
Do not stand on stools or chairs.

Tip hazard — anchor your furniture

Furniture may become a tipping hazard. We strongly recommend anchoring furniture to the wall, including:
