Recliner mechanisms are subject to wear and tear — avoid excessive use or rough manoeuvres. When extended, leg rests are not designed to support excessive weight; keep weight evenly distributed. Do not allow children to play on motion sofas and armchairs. Ensure the user is correctly seated before operating any mechanism; precautions should be taken by people with lumbar conditions and by pregnant women. Recliner mechanisms carry a 3-year warranty on the structure, excluding moving parts such as handles, triggers and hinges, which carry a 1-year warranty unless stated otherwise.

Plump feather cushions regularly to keep the sofa looking full and comfort consistent — dropping them on the floor face up puts air back into the feathers. Some feather loss over the cushion’s lifetime is completely normal and can be rectified with regular vacuuming.
